Prerequisites
- PC/ laptop, with internet, Speakers, a microphone, and webcam either built-in or attached to your computer, students have to be seen & heard during course duration for 6 hours.
- Phones are not recommended.
Please note: A good Understanding of written and spoken English is required to undertake this course: if not, you will need to enrol for the Face to Face RSA short course we offer, and will be required to organise a NATTI interpreter to be present in the class to Translate: Please advise prior to the class if you are bringing an interpreter.

What You Get
Students successfully completing the RSA short course will received (via email):-
- Liquor Control Victoria (LCV) branded RSA certificate, on the day (this certificate only valid in Victoria)
- Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment SITHFAB021 RSA (within 2-3 weeks).
- Employment Skills.

Our RSA short course via zoom is interactive, and delivered in real-time via Zoom by experts and Experienced trainers in hospitality, you will have the chance to ask questions and join in activities, just as you would in any face to face class.
RSA Training is mandatory for licensees and staff selling, offering or serving liquor for general, on-premises, late night and packaged liquor licenses.
This course applies to any staff in Victoria working where alcohol is sold or served, including all types of hospitality, tourism and events venues. Packaged liquor outlets and wineries, breweries and distilleries.
RSA training covers the following:
How to recognise and professionally deal with intoxicated customers and underage persons. Creation of safe and social atmospheres' at venues. An understanding of liquor licensing requirements of staff enabling course participants to be industry ready and confident.
The Nationally Accredited Statement of Attainment SITHFAB021 RSA describes the:
Performance outcomes. Skills and knowledge required to responsibly sell or serve alcohol. Covers RSA skill and knowledge requirements common across Australia. (In some cases after completion of this unit, some jurisdictions liquor authorities require candidates to complete a bridging course to address the specific differences between states and territories).
Please Note:
- Learners must be 16 years of age and over at the time of course commencement, students will not be able to use the LCV RSA certificate until they are age of 18th years old.
- The LCV RSA certificate is valid for three years, and then students will need to complete an online RSA refresher course every 3 years and before the RSA certificate expiry date, this course is free.

Assessment:
You must remain in view of the trainer, clearly visible, you must not turn off your camera. Mobile phones must be off. The assessment must be completed in one sitting (there is no option to save your answers and return to the assessment at a later time)
You will be assessed on:
- Active participation.
- Role Play.
- Answering questions oline.
Assessment 1: Questions
This assessment consists of three parts:
- Part 1: Multiple-choice-single correct answers.
- Part 2: True of False Statements.
- Part 3: Multiple-choice -Multiple correct answers (as stated per question)
Time allowed: 45 minutes, per task, you have 2 attempts to complete the assessment. The passing score is %100.
Assessment 2: Role play x3
Three separate role-play scenarios, whilst undertaking these practical demonstrations, students must remain in view of the trainer, as you need to be observed by the trainer:
- Role-play 1: Drug Affected.
- Role-play 2: Emotional Distress.
- Role-play 3: No Food.
