Dress Code
Participants are advised to wear flat, enclosed, rubber soled shoes for comfort and safety in the kitchens. To ensure food safety procedures are followed, long hair should be tied back and all unnecessary jewellery removed.
Learn how to construct the perfect cupcake; move from pedestrian to sublime by mastering the ideal texture and become conscious of how to layer flavours to enhance the finished product.
Achieve a greater understanding of how different ingredients combine to enhance taste and image and be initiated into and utilise professional techniques to design, decorate and garnish your cupcakes, while mastering the tips, tricks and trade secrets to transform the humble cupcake into an elevated art form.
In this one day course you will bake a range of different flavoured cupcakes which may include white chocolate, raspberry, mud cake, red velvet cupcakes, black forest and butterfly cakes.
Participants will also develop the necessary piping skills to give your products a visual edge.Students will be instructed in the art of piping, including different methods, how to add colour, create different effects, ensure correct texture and how to create a professional finish every time.
On completion of this class you will receive a certificate of attendance.
A light lunch is provided for all class participants
