Advanced Espresso

It is recommended that participants have completed Advanced Espresso, with some work experience in a commercial environment or have extensive industry experience up to 6 months working as a barista.

Dress Code

It is recommended that participants wear soft soled flat, enclosed, shoes and clean comfortable clothing. Long hair should be tied up.

  

This is an advanced course, it is recommended that participants have completed Advanced Espresso, with some work experience in a commercial environment or have extensive industry experience up to 6 months working as a barista.

In this course, you will also demonstrate industry standards of extracting espresso coffee, using grinding on demand dosing and grinding techniques. An understanding and recognising quality of espresso brewing is essential to participate in this course.  This course is also open to home baristas who have completed Advanced Espresso and at least 3 months of home espresso preparation.

You will learn and practice competition standard advanced milk texturing and pouring techniques and a range of drawn and poured patterns.  If you wish to discuss enrolment pre-requisites or industry experience please contact The Coffee Academy.
