This interactive and engaging online course is a beneficial and easy first step for those working or planning on working with food. The course provides basic hygiene principles for all food handlers and is a good way to build your knowledge of safe food handling.

The aim of the “Food Handlers Introduction” course is:

      1. To learn about correct storage temperatures
      2. Dealing with 'danger' foods
      3. Personal Hygiene
      4. Cleaning food preparation areas and
      5. Pest control

Once you have purchased the online course, you will receive an email confirmation with your Username and Password to access the online Learning Management System in order to undertake the course.

On successful completion of the course, you will be able to print your Certificate of Completion.

Please note:

This course is not Nationally recognised for ‘SITXFSA101 – Use hygienic practices for food safety’. If you would like to complete a Nationally recognised, Food Handlers Certificate, you will need to complete our ‘Food Handlers – Hospitality Sector’ course.
