Participants are advised to wear flat, enclosed, rubber soled shoes for comfort and safety in the kitchens. To ensure food safety procedures are followed, long hair should be tied back and all unnecessary jewellery removed.
This class takes the cake decorating skills learnt in Introduction to Cake Decorating and amplifies them.
You will learn how to cover a round cake in fondant and create a pillow textured cake.
You will be inducted into the techniques for fondant ribbon making along with some basic fondant model sculpting and advanced fondant flower making.
Please note that this class is cake decorating only and participants will work on pre prepared cakes; there is no baking in this class
On completion of this class you will receive a certificate of attendance.
A light lunch is provided for all class participants
