Participants are requested to wear flat, enclosed, rubber soled shoes and long trousers for comfort and safety in the kitchens. To ensure food safety procedures are followed, long hair should be tied back and all unnecessary jewellery removed.
The skills you’ll learn in this class won’t be gone tonight; they will be with you forever.
In this class, specifically targeted to the 10-15 year olds, participants will learn basic knife skills, a variety of fundamental cuts and elementary garnishes which will lay the foundation for those interested in following their culinary dreams.
Incorporating some instructional cooking students will create a chicken and vegetable stir fry, healthy salads and Yukon gold potato fans
This course will cover an assortment of professional cutting techniques and offer a concrete foundation to becoming more proficient in the kitchen.
On completion of this class you will receive a certificate of attendance.
