The Food Safety for Frontline Staff online course comprises of 2 nationally recognised units of competency (SITXFSA101 – Use hygienic practices for food safety and SITHKOP101 – Clean kitchen premises and equipment), and covers:

  • The skills and knowledge required to use personal hygiene practices to prevent contamination of food that might cause food-borne illnesses;
  • The ability to follow predetermined organisational procedures and to identify and control food hazards;
  • Cleaning food preparation, storage areas and equipment in commercial kitchens to ensure the safety of food; and,
  • Working safely and using resources efficiently to reduce negative environmental impacts.

Upon successfull completion of this online course, participants will receive a William Angliss statement of attainment.

Participants will have 3 months from the enrolment date online to complete the two units.

Once you have purchased the online course you will be emailed a Username and Password to access the online Learning Management System in order to undertake your course. On successful completion of the course a certificate of completion will be posted to you.

PLEASE NOTE: The creation of user accounts is a manual operation and therefore takes place Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
