The Food Safety for Supervisors online course comprises of 2 nationally recognised units of competency (SITXFSA101 – Use hygienic practices for food safety and SITXFSA201 – Participate in safe food handling practices), and covers:
- The skills and knowledge required to use personal hygiene practices to prevent contamination of food that might cause food-borne illnesses;
- The ability to follow predetermined organisational procedures and to identify and control food hazards;
- Handling food safely during the storage, preparation, display, service and disposal of food; and,
- Following predetermined procedures as outlined in a food safety program.
Upon successfull completion of this online course, participants will receive a William Angliss statement of attainment.
Participants will have 3 months from the enrolment date online to complete the two units.
Once you have purchased the online course you will be emailed a Username and Password to access the online Learning Management System in order to undertake your course. On successful completion of the course a certificate of completion will be posted to you.
