The Events for Supervisors online course comprises of 2 nationally recognised units of competency (SITEEVT005 – Plan in-house events or functions and SITEEVT001 – Source and use information on the events industry), and covers:
- Planning the delivery of events or functions within a commercial venue;
- Identifying the customer’s operational needs and preferences, preparing and confirming event proposals and finalising operational documents for the delivery of events;
- Interpreting current and emerging information on event industry operations; and,
- Industry structures, technologies, laws and ethical issues specifically relevant to event coordination.
Upon successfull completion of this online course, participants will receive a William Angliss statement of attainment.
Participants will have 3 months from the enrolment date online to complete the two units.
Once you have purchased the online course you will be emailed a Username and Password to access the online Learning Management System in order to undertake your course. On successful completion of the course a certificate of completion will be posted to you.
