The Team Building for Frontline Staff online course is comprised of 2 nationally recognised units of competency (SITHIND004 – Work effectively in hospitality service and SITXCOM002 – Show social and cultural sensitivity), and covers:
- The skills and knowledge required to provide effective hospitality service to customers during live service periods;
- Integrating a range of individual technical skills while dealing with numerous sales, service or operational tasks simultaneously to meet the needs of multiple and diverse customers;
- Being socially aware when serving customers and working with colleagues; and
- Communicating with people from a range of social and cultural groups with respect and sensitivity and addressing cross-cultural misunderstandings.
Once the online course has been purchased, participants will be emailed an Enrolment Form. This Enrolment Form must be completed, signed and returned with a valid form of photographic ID for participants to be set up in our systems. All information that is supplied is used for Government reporting purposes only as the purchased Short Course is made up of nationally accredited units.
Once all required paperwork is returned, you will be contacted by your Trainer and emailed a Username and Password to access the online Learning Management System in order to undertake your course.
This course consists of online activities and projects and you will be required to complete a face to face element which will be conducted via Zoom.
Participants will have 3 months from the enrolment date online to complete the two units and upon successful completion of the online course, will receive a William Angliss statement of attainment.
PLEASE NOTE: The creation of user accounts is a manual operation and therefore takes place Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
