Dress Code

Participants are requested to wear flat, enclosed, rubber soled shoes and long trousers for comfort and safety in the kitchens. To ensure food safety procedures are followed, long hair should be tied back and all unnecessary jewellery removed.

You won’t need to go ‘Roman’ all over the world to discover the secrets of delicious gelato. Join us for a fun hands-on gelato making class where you will learn the tricks of the trade and traditional and time-honoured methods of freshly made gelato still used by Italians today.

This innovative hand on class will guide you through facets of artisan gelato making at home from an appreciation of the history of gelato and understanding the fundamentals of creating an array of traditional and contemporary flavours. You will be guided through the design and construction of gelato to enable you to produce creamy, decadent, handcrafted gelato at home; great for entertaining and creating a 'wow' factor for your guests.

Gelato @ Home is designed for those who wish to create delicious artisan gelato in the home and learn the secrets to gelato-making; even if you just love gelato this course is perfect for you.

Come prepared as there will be plenty of taste testing and samples to take home.

On completion of this class you will receive a certificate of attendance.
