William Angliss Institute offers a wide range of Professional Advancement courses.

These courses are aimed at meeting the training needs of those in business, for upskilling of workplace staff or for those wanting a career change. They are designed as a 'need to know now' format and come with a Certificate of Attendance upon completion. Some of the courses however, have pre-requesites, they are Nationally Accredited and will therefore come with a Certificate of Attainment when assessments are successfully completed. Private training / classes can be arranged to meet industry specific training.

Offered to people who have qualified as an (Associate) Food Safety Auditor, this program provides a supervised environment to carry out audit days to gain RABQSA registration to auditor level.
Accredited by RABQSA, this course provides the skills and knowledge required to become an accredited Food Safety Auditor. Topics include pre-audit planning and desk auditing, auditing standards, on-site auditing, audit reports, case studies, Codes of Practice, legal liability, Hazard Analysis, Critical Control Points (HACCP), and preparation of a food safety plan.

Due to new certification requirements by RABQSA applicable from the beginning of 2011 for national food safety auditors, it will be necessary to have either a background in food science or evidence of 40 hours of work experience in microbiology.
