The ProgramThe Coffee Academy Barista Skills set has been designed to provide the skills and knowledge required for a barista managing a coffee outlet, making coffee and interacting with customers and colleagues in a cafe, bar, hotel or restaurant setting.
The participant will complete 5 units which can lead to the qualification of Certificate III in Hospitality. The Units are listed below:

The cafe and hospitality industries are currently experiencing high demand for trained and skilled baristas. This course will deliver trained and experienced baristas who can manage a coffee outlet, make coffee and provide appropriate responses to consumer questions. Not only will they have coffee making skills but they will have an in-depth understanding of the coffee industry, work place hygiene procedures and point of sale procedures, and customer service skills.
The units will use a range of Flexible delivery methods: face to face teaching, online training, talks and presentations by experienced coffee practitioners, and work experience at allocated cafes.
